Road Worker Killed after Autopilot Tesla Crash and Secondary BMW Impact in Taiwan
A 25-year-old motorway worker surnamed Yu died in a two-stage collision on Taiwan’s National Highway 3 near Daxi on March 7, 2022. A Tesla with assistance engaged first hit a stationary roadwork attenuator vehicle; about 20 seconds later a BMW struck Yu while he placed warning cones. The fatal impact came from the BMW, not the Tesla itself.
